Road Trip

One of my favorite types of vacation is the Road Trip. Through the years, I have dragged Sarah and the boys along on my adventures and we have had lots of fun. Here are a few of the highlights of our past Road Trips.

We have visited the Wizard of Oz museum at the "Yellow Brick Road" store in Chesteron, Indiana. This has to be the smallest museum I have ever visited. It was about the size of the bathroom in our house. And, what made it so funny, it was a guided tour.

We have had country fried steak at the "Mayberry Cafe" in Danville, Indiana. This is an Andy Griffith show themed restaurant. It had a very down home feel, with down home cooking. You would swear you were dining in Mayberry.

We have had a double burger with fried vegetables at Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger, in Ann Arbor Michigan. (Check out my review of this restaurant on Sarah's Blog here) This has to be the best "college town" burger joint around.

We attended Selleck and Slade's first ever baseball game in Akron, Ohio. We saw the Akron Aeros play from our seats in the front row, behind home plate. A minor league baseball game is so much fun!

These are just a few of the highlights. I can't wait for our next Road Trip!
