Blogworth

I know that I have only been blogging for a short amount of time, but in that time I have already started to get a bit of a complex. On my blog, I have a stat counter to let me know how many people are reading the blog. It seems that I tend to base, what I like to call my "blogworth" (what my blog means to the world) on the number of people that read the blog. It seems that on some days, for whatever reason, a lot of people read my blog. Then other days (this happens a lot on weekends), I get only a few visitors. I know that having a lot of readers doesn't, necessarily, mean my recent posts are great and that only having a few readers doesn't, necessarily, mean my posts have been awful. But it is hard to get my brain to understand that.

I have also found that when I get a comment on a post, it makes my day. I know that something I wrote caused someone to feel enough about it to actually write back. It is so cool.

So, whether you love my blog or you hate my blog, you are reading my blog. For that, I say thanks. My "blogworth" needed the boost!

You are a WONDERFUL blogger and I truly enjoy your posts. (More than Sarah's, but don't tell her!)

Get rid of that stat counter...it'll drive you crazy!!

Love reading your blog. It gives a special connection. However, I have been involved in an online class that has taken more of my time than usual. I always get to your blog but not as quickly as I would like. Also, I like to sometimes wait and see if others are going to comment. I enjoy seeing others responses.
