Sometimes I like to use phrases that may have all but vanished from our modern language. One such phrase is to "see a man about a horse". If you have never heard this phrase, it generally means that you have to go to the bathroom, but you don't really want to say that out loud.
Sure, it might sound a bit ridiculous to say "I've got to go see a man about a horse" when you have to go to the bathroom, but I think that is why I like it so much. And, there is nothing cuter then your 3 year old taping you on the shoulder and politely saying, "Daddy, I've got to go see a man about a horse."
