Have you ever heard someone say something that was so obvious that it made you laugh? Here are a few of the most obvious statements that I have heard that gave me a nice chuckle:
1) "If we have three kids, two of them are bound to be the same sex."
2) "When we were engaged, before we got married..."
3) "They need to know that or else they'll never know."

Funny. I have a friend that we call captain obvious. He makes obvios statements daily.
