All hope is gone...No, not in life, in baseball. Last week I officially gave up hope for the Cincinnati Reds to make the post season.
It is sad when it happens. But, inevitably, each year about this time, I go through the despair of admitting the baseball season, for me as a Reds fan, is over. Not only is it sad on it's own merit, but it also seems to signal that summer is drawing to an end. Fall will be here before we know it. The World Series will happen, again not with the Reds involved.
So sad.

Cheer up, Scott. After summer comes fall (no grass to mow), and after baseball comes basketball and renewed hope for the Blue Devils.
