Mom and Dad
As I was growing up, I played all kinds of sports. Whatever it was, I played it. Every season brought a new sport, but the one thing that stayed the same was my parents. No matter what I was playing, my parents were there to watch me. Whether it was a baseball game on a blazing hot day or a basketball game in a stuffy gym or a bowling match in a stinky bowling alley, they were there. It meant a lot to me to look up from whatever sport I was playing and see my parents. Now, being a parent myself, I want to take their example and always be there for my boys. And, I bet when I am there watching my boys play whatever sport it is, right there beside me will by my parents, supporting their grandboys.

The hightlight of your sports career came at a all star game in Lebanon where the coaches moved the outfield fence back 20 feet so
the boys could not hit home-runs.
As you got up to bat someone watching the game commented that there is the boy with all the power because you had hit the ball over the newly moved fenced. A Parent from your team told the guys that I was your Dad. Boy was I proud but not as proud as the day you accepted the Lord as your Saviour Love You Son
