Snow Days II (with pictures)

In my post yesterday I said I "can't wait for the next snow day!" Little did I know that the next snow day would come so soon. On Wednesday, we had a bunch more snow piled on top of the old snow and a layer of ice. So, of course we decided to go play in the snow again! Not only did we sled for a bit, but we made a snow castle and Selleck made a snow angel. This time we even remembered to take some pictures.

Sarah doesn't care to go out in the snow, so Selleck and I got to go out together again. I love this time to just hang out with Selleck and have some father/son time. I am looking forward to the day that Slade can join us on the sledding hill. For now he is content watching out the window. Here are the pictures:

Great memories were made in the last two days. The pictures help preserve those memories of both boys on a snow day one is watching and the other is playing.

I hate winter, like your wife. We had enough snow last year one night to build a snowman. As much as I hate winter...my 12yr old and her good friend and I played in the snow at 10pm because we knew with the mist and cold it would be ice the next morning. It was a pathetic, but sweet snow memory. Our pics aren't nearly as cool as yours...but the memory might be close. If I didn't hate winter...I'd be jealous. Who is kidding???? I AM jealous. I've got two days out of school this week because I have the flu...snow days are way cooler.

Vickie, I agree with you. No matter what feelings one may have about snow days, flu days are way worse.
