Where now?

I recently read a blog post by the Pastor of National Community Church in Washington D.C., Mark Batterson, entitled "Released From and Called To". In his post, Mark talks about the times in Ministry when God calls you away from something and calls you to something else. As he said, it is always difficult leaving a Ministry that you have put so much into. But, it is even harder when God calls you away from a Ministry, but is yet to call you to another. He referred to it as a "No man's land".

I am currently in the "No man's land" he is talking about. Yesterday was my last day as Executive Pastor at Gravity Church. God has released me from my Ministry there, but has yet to call me to another. It is a difficult time, with so much uncertainty. What this time has given me, though, is a time to pray and seek God's will in my life. I know he has a plan for me, I just need to be patient and wait to see what it is.

I'm praying that God opens up the right door for you to do His work.
