What not to do on a job interview - week 4

With the current job market, many people will be searching for new jobs. To help out, I thought I would take one day each week for 5 weeks and give you my "Top 5 things not to do on a job interview". We are in week number 4. These are things that have actually happened during one of the job interviews I have conducted. If you are interviewing for a new job, please do not do these things.

4) Don't apply and interview for a job you only intend on having for 2 weeks - I had an interview with a girl that was still in college. It was the end of August and I noticed on her application that she had attended college out of state. My assumption was that she must have either changed schools to one near by or will not be attending college. I was wrong. During the interview, she told me that she goes back to school in 2 weeks and just wanted a job because she had a few days free until she left for school. She went on to tell me some specific days within that 2 week time period that she would not be available. Come on! No employer would go through the hiring process, train someone, then have them leave a few days later. We did not offer her a position.

I can almost imagine this candidate tossing her blond hair over her shoulder as she speaks.
